What is life about?

What is life about? What are you building and what will be the outcome?

To me life is what you make of it. Enjoy, relax and have fun is the destination. How you get there is up to you.

Beating the drum every day has to have a purpose. Mapping out what the outcome looks like before you start makes sense. If you can do this through drawing a picture so much the better. When I first encountered this approach I was asked what colours dominate my picture. I said Yellow and Blue. For me these colours represented the sun and the sea. As I built the picture it contained a boat, a partner who challenged me and worked with me as an equal. Time to enjoy the things, friends and family I love. I did not really have a work Vision in mind it was far more personal. Work is a means to an end.

The second question I was asked was, “so in that picture, standing on that boat enjoying the sun and sea, what were the steps you took to get there?” I then told the story and it became my vision.
