Live Volcanoes
Let's Sail around Stromboli
Stromboli is the furthest of the Aeolian islands and one of the most active volcanoes on earth! It's been erupting since 1932 almost constantly at 20-30 minutes intervals.
Known as the 'light house' of the Mediterranean it used to guide ships before the times of GPS.
We can go and visit Stromboli only on good weather and longer holidays as it's 5-6 hours sailing from the main island of Lipari.
style on the island
Enjoy colours and style in Panarea
The smallest of the Aeolian islands is also the most famous and loved by stars and billionaires.
We love it because there are no cars, but you can get a golf caddy taxi across the hill to the port and enjoy a fashionable cocktail and some elegant shopping!

not just water
Walk up a volcano
Another active volcano, this island was named after the God of Fire and be the place where the Cyclops would forge arms for the gods.
Geologically the island is the result of 4 volcanoes fusing together. The bigger one, is still active with regular sulfur eruptions that are visible from the crater, a short hike from the port.
We love it for the wine bar with special local wines, some amazing granitas and the local fishmonger on his ape car.
